Circles of Empowerment is thrilled to invite you to the first Annual Imbolc Dance on Saturday, February 2nd. Join us as we dance and celebrate the return of the sun! Imbolc or Imbolg (pronounced Imolc), also called Brigid's Day, is a Gaelic traditional festival celebrating the beginning of spring. Brigid brings hope and gently nurtures the just stirring earth. She whispers through the Snowdrops, “hold onto your dreams, they are as precious as the promise of Spring”. This fundraiser will help COE raise money for land that will be used for ceremony, teachings, enrichment, and community gatherings, including a variety of interfaith circles. This land will incorporate indigenous land management techniques, permaculture, alternative power, and other advanced technologies. We would be proud to demonstrate and teach harmonious living with each other and Earth Mother. We are so excited to share this celebration with you and your loved ones! If you have friends who are curious but have not yet attended ceremony, this is an excellent time to introduce them to the community. Also, feel free to invite anyone you know who maybe looking for a massive tax write off! This is a fundraiser, after all. Slo county’s very own Zen Mountain Poets will be blessing us with their alchemical musical vibrations that transport, transmute, and uplift the soul! Be sure to bring cash for the raffle!
